Finding Financial Freedom with Flower Essences

Financial Freedom is the status of having enough income or wealth sufficient to pay one's living expenses for the rest of one's life without having to be employed or dependent on others. That sounds like something we all want right? If not, here are the benefits that being financially independent can bring you.

Why is Financial Freedom Important?

  1. More Security / Less Stress.
  2. Control Over Your Time.
  3. Choose to Pursue Other Passions.
  4. Your Actions Can be More Aligned With Your Values.
  5. Take More Risks.

If being Financial Free sounds appealing to you, make sure to check out our Money Magic eBook. But today we will also share some flower essences that can be beneficial to you in gaining answers toward obtaining Financial Freedom.

Financially Free Flower Essences

  • Angelica: This flower essence puts you in touch with Spirit helpers, especially when you feel the need for spiritual guidance or protection. This essence is wonderful if you feel shut down or out of touch with the spiritual world.

  • Lotus: The reason that the Lotus flower is so prominent in many religions (especially Eastern religions) is because this flower opens the seventh chakra. This chakra, once opened, allows spiritual energy to enter the physical and energetic body. The awakening of the seventh chakra is often associated with enlightenment in many cultures. For those who wish for enlightened information through dreams, Lotus is a perfect solution.

  • Potato: Sometimes it can be difficult to be both dreamer and pragmatist. Or, more specifically, it can be difficult to translate the information you receive in your dreams into practical action steps that will help you achieve your goals. Potato is an excellent flower essence to help you keep one foot in each world—the dream world and the waking everyday world. Potato is one of the best flower essences for “bridging” the two worlds.

  • Star Tulip: This flower essence is sometimes called Cat’s Ear and can be useful if you typically dream of mundane events (running errands, daily tasks, and events from recent days). Star Tulip helps you become more sensitive to messages from Spirit and other helpers, raising the level of dream vibrations so you that you receive enlightened and useful higher-level guidance.

  • Wormwood: If you know that you dream but have a difficult time remembering enough dream fragments to record in your dream diary, Wormwood can help. This flower essence can help you extend the state of twilight consciousness so you gather and record more dream fragments.

Ready to Ramp Up Your Psychic Abilities? These Can Help!

Did you know that every single person on this planet is born with psychic abilities, regardless of race, education, location, privilege, or any other factors? Many magickal abilities, including psychic abilities, are the birthright of every planetary citizen. That means you!

"So why can't I predict the Lotto numbers or know whether someone is lying to me?" you might ask. And that's a valid question. The answer is simple. Like any skill or ability, psychic abilities are latent, which means that they do not appear in our lives--except perhaps in moments of extreme stress--unless we focus on developing these abilities. Psychic skills are no different than skills you develop to do thing you enjoy, or athletic abilities you hone to be better at a particular sport.

There is an entire series of exercises that, when done in sequence, allow you to slowly and carefully bring your psychic abilities into your life without undue stress. We present many of these exercises in our Psychic Development ebook. One of the best ways to learn more about your specific psychic abilities is to begin using some or all of the flower essences listed in the following section. By finding the essence, or combination of essences, that best suit your life, you will allow your native psychic abilities to reveal themselves in a natural and non-traumatic way. Most of us are better at some psychic skills than others because these are abilities that we have developed in past lives. The listed flower essences simply encourage those skills to come forth into this lifetime so we can use them here and now.

Flower Essences for Increasing Psychic Abilities
One of the best ways to receive more and stronger guidance from the Universe and higher spiritual helpers is to increase your psychic abilities. These abilities might include clairvoyance, clairaudience, seeing possible futures, or having greater insight into current events in your life, to name just a few. The Universe is constantly offering us guidance and help, and increasing our psychic abilities helps us receive these messages with greater clarity and speed. The following group of flower essences can help you strengthen your psychic abilities, especially when paired with exercises to augment these abilities.
  • Beach Plum: Helps refine and develop the psychic senses in addition to the five physical senses. Opens the senses to angels and higher beings.
  • Star Tulip: Puts us in more direct contact with Spirit guides, while at the same time developing psychic abilities.
  • Bayberry: Refines and increases the ability to hear psychically, also called clairaudience. Increases the ability to hear messages from higher beings, as well as hearing the truth behind words.
  • Caterpillar Plant: Brings one's own inherent psychic abilities down to a more accessible level where we can make use of them. We were born with most of these abilities, but most of them have been latent. This flower essence can call them forth for us to use.
  • Cyclamen: Helps one develop the psychic ability to channel. Useful for developing spoken or written channeled messages.
  • Jungle Flame Flower: Particularly helpful for developing clairvoyance, and integrating that psychic ability into one's everyday senses.
  • Lobelia: General tonic for psychic development.
  • Marigold: Increases the ability to hear psychic messages, plus the general development of psychic abilities.
  • Potato: Because the potato has many eyes, the essence made from its flower helps us see on many different levels and in many different dimensions as well. Helps us understand psychic information and all the ways that information can be applied in our lives.
  • Spikenard: This unique essence helps extend existing psychic abilities. The range of one's ability to hear, see, receive messages, or heal is increased when this essence is used.
  • Sugar Bowls: Helps open a direct connection to psychic sources, information, and use of psychic abilities. Also allows one to access new ideas, talents, and psychic skills.

You Won't Believe the Simplicity of Making Your Own Real Magic Flower Essences

Flower essences truly are a wonderful addition to your real magic healing toolbox. Many people resist making their own flower essences thinking it will be difficult and time consuming. You may be surprised how simple it is to make your own flower essences.

What Are Flower Essences?
Flower essences use the natural healing properties of flowering plants to create healing effects primarily in the subtle or non-physical bodies. This can include the auric, mental and emotional bodies. Flower essences work well for emotional upheavals, spiritual disconnection, depression, recurring life issues, mental distress, chronic conditions and as first aid in an emergency situation.

Principles of Flower Essences
  • We were born as a part of nature and all parts of nature come together to form a whole.
  • The plants that are natural to our environment were given to us as companions and healers.
  • We are One together in nature, and our relationship is intended to be one of co-operation in the experiences we create and call "life"
  • Flower essences make available to us the vibrational frequencies and individual qualities of plants. The vibration associated with a plant is the personality of the plant or energy signature. Each plant has its own unique signature.
  • Flower essences are subtle, making them especially suited for healing our subtle bodies (non-physical bodies that occupy the same space as our physical bodies). The subtle bodies are where many diseases begin.
  • Flower essences provide excellent emotional support for anything you want to achieve in life, especially personal goals and aims. They can help support and facilitate the shift in vibrational frequency needed to accomplish the changes you need to have happen to achieve your goal.
Making Flower Essences
The process of making flower essences itself can be both peaceful and refreshing and a way to reconnect yourself with the Nature around you. The items you use in making your flower essences should be reserved only for this purpose so as to avoid other energetic vibrations cluttering up your flower essences. You will need:
  • Tweezers
  • Distilled water
  • Clear glass bowl
  • Alcohol (80 proof vodka) or organic, unfiltered, apple cider vinegar
  • Quart size cobalt or brown jar
  • Several 1 or 2 ounce brown dropper bottles
Steps in Making Flower Essences
1. Communicate with the plant first by sitting quietly by the plant, breathing deeply and opening yourself and your heart. Be in silence and ask the plant Deva for permission to use the plant's blossoms for healing. Speak to the plant the same way you would to anyone, but even more gently. You can either speak out loud or project your thoughts toward the plant. Wait until you hear a response.

2. Say to the plant Deva, "Please infuse this water with your divine essence." You can also leave an offering at the base of the plant so that there is an even exchange of giving and receiving energy. Appropriate offerings can include beautiful rocks, consecrated tobacco or cornmeal or a strand of your own hair.

3. Pour the distilled water into the glass bowl.

4. Use the tweezers to gently remove each blossom at its base and respectfully place it in the water. Another method suggests bending the stem of the plant so that the blossom rests in the water, but not to remove the blossom itself. This method is thought to preserve the integrity of the plant. If you use the blossoms, follow your intuition as to how many and choose only those that are in their prime or just coming into their prime.

5. Place the bowl with water and blossoms or petals in the sun or leave it sitting at the base of the plant for 1-4 hours. Again use your intuition for the amount of time. Also pick the time of day to make the essence depending on the type of energy you want for your essence. For example, dawn energy is good for initiating or beginning energy.

6. Remember throughout the process to remain quietly peaceful, not in a hurry and don't allow your actions to become mechanical. This is a process of communing with nature.

7. Next add alcohol to the mixture to prevent external bacteria from contaminating your essence. The mixture should be 50% alcohol and 50% water. Add the water into the cobalt or brown glass jar, then add the alcohol. This mixture is the "mother tincture". The brown or cobalt glass protects the tincture against light which has its own vibration and can cause the tincture to decompose.

8. Store the mother tincture in a cool, dark place such as a dark closest, freezer, or root cellar.

9. When ready to make your actual flower essence, fill a small brown dropper bottle with distilled water and add one dropper full of the mother tincture to it. Succuss the water by striking the bottom of the bottle on the palm of your hand about 50 times. This mixes the mother tincture with the water and excites the molecules.

The Magic of the Long Moment

Time travel, or the manipulation of time, has long been a shaman's tool for healing or research. For instance, a shaman might take a person back into a past life event so that person can understand what happened, or a shaman might travel into the future to explore possible what-ifs. For shamans and magicians time is elastic: it can be stretched like taffy, compressed like cotton, or frozen like ice.

One of the simplest ways to begin playing with time magically is to practice the art of the long moment. The art of the long moment is simply the ability to slow our perception of certain events so that we can really see what is happening in present time. It's also called the Cortothalamic Pause. Why do we need such a pause? Because we normally rush headlong through life events at the speed of sound, which doesn't give us optimum time to respond appropriately.

3 Steps to Instant Reaction
Here's the 3 step process that normally happens in any life event:
  1. We receive an incoming perception: A person speaks loudly to us
  2. The perception is immediately routed by our flow of associations to a certain place in our memory: In this or a past life, we have memories of loud voices and anger.
  3. The perception is assigned a meaning: The person is angry with us.
These three steps happen in less than a second. Less than one second after we receive an incoming impression, we have assigned a meaning to the perception and are already beginning to react. We will assume that the person is angry with us regardless of what the person is actually feeling.

In the regular course of things, our time is compressed in this way. There's no time to really evaluate the incoming perception and respond appropriately. Do you ever overreact in the heat of the moment and wonder why? It's because you had no Cortothalamic Pause. You reacted based on memory. In other words, most of us are interacting with life using mechanical reactions from memory -- we are hardly ever in the "now."

The Magic of the Long Moment
This is where the long moment comes in. If you can slow yourself at the moment you receive an incoming piece of data then you can stretch time. In this long moment you give yourself the power to evaluate the information you have received and give a true response.

How can you practice the art of the long moment? It's not hard. Twice a day practice the Cortothalamic Pause. When someone asks you a question or asks you to do something, stop everything inside yourself for 2 seconds. Stop all thought and consideration. Get quiet. Then respond to the person. For a long time you won't actually be able to stop your internal thoughts, but you will be able to see all the mechanical reactions and thoughts that immediately spring up. You'll be truly surprised at the massive and often chaotic activity that happens inside yourself. It will give you true insight into the way you interact with life.

Flower Essences for the Long Moment
To enhance the probability of having a long moment, you can include these flower essences as part of your daily regimen:

- Lavender and Chamomile for calming
- White Chestnut for reducing repetitive thoughts
- Thyme for helping to manipulate Time

How to Work with Power Plants

The plant world, as a facet of "All That Is" is central to many shamanic, magical and tribal traditions. Plants were placed on Earth to be our companions and healers, and when we take the time to honor that sacred role, we heal both ourselves and our planet. Whether you are working with plants to create herbs, flower essences, essential oils or incense, you must first and foremost be in communication with those plants. While plants, in and of themselves, have a great deal of healing and spiritual power, when we take the time to honor and communicate with the plants we want to partake of, those plants grow exponentially in power and force.

Communicating With Power Plants
So how do you honor and communicate with power plants? It's not difficult. As Devta Khalsa, healer of many traditions, describes in her ebook, communicating with plants is really no different than communicating with another person--just more tender. Before you harvest any plant, take some time to sit quietly by the plant. Breathe deeply and center yourself. Then ask the plant for permission to use some of its body. Tell the plant what you would like to use it for. Wait for permission. Whether or not you hear a response, know that the plant's devas always hear and respond to you. Ask the plant to infuse its body with healing and harmonious power suitable for your purpose.

If you wait silently enough, quieting your mind, you'll most likely hear a response. Even if you don't, though, just taking the time to honor and communicate with the plant will make your gathering more powerful and effective. No matter what you hear, thank the plant for its role in your healing and life.

It's also customary to leave an offering at the base of the plant, so that there is an equal exchange of energy. Sacred tobacco and cornmeal are perfect for this, but you can also use a hair from your head if you didn't bring any other offering.

Healing Magic: Simple Powerful Flower Essence Recipes

Are you ready for some healing magic to recover from the tough year 2012? If you survived the chaotic year 2012, congratulations, many people didn't and chose to leave the planet. Others had a great year, but many more had a very rough time and took a lot of physical "hits" and are now looking for magical recovery and healing magic. In our Energy Healing for Self and Others ebook, one of the topics covered is flower essences and how to make them. Here we will give you a few flower essence remedies that are helping people recover from the year 2012.

A Few Things About Flower Essences
Before looking at individual remedies, there are a few things to know about how flower essences work as healing magic. Flower essences provide emotional and transformational support, but do not have the power to change you. Only you can do that. They give support to ease the discomfort or pain that sometimes make change too difficult. Flower essences give us the use of vibrational frequencies and qualities of the plant used in making them. They are especially useful in helping to heal our non-physical or subtle bodies.

Remedies As Healing Magic
Star of Bethlehem – can be used to open the healing fields for any kind of trauma. The gift it brings from its source plant is that it comforts all traumas.

Elm – can be used for grounding when overwhelmed with present events or an overall sense of well-being when overwhelmed. The gift it brings is feeling capable, responsible and able to cope well with change.

Honeysuckle – can be used for an overall sense of well-being when your energies are depleted or grounding when finding yourself sulking and giving up or exhausted. The gift it brings is support during loss, and replenishing depleted energies.

These are just a few of the flower essences that can be used in healing magic. To learn more about flower essences, take a look at our Energy Healing for Self and Others ebook in the school store.
To see how to make your own flower essences check out our article HERE. There are many more that can be used for conditions such as loneliness, despair, emotional cleansing, fear, uncertainty and many more. Making your own flower essences allows you to connect with the source plant and honor it for sharing its healing properties and make your formula more individualized to yourself. Formulas can vary from person to person, and your formula can change as you change. Making your own flower essences instead of buying a pre-made one gives you the edge with making the changes you need to personalize it.

Whether you are recovering from a difficult last year, facing personal difficulties this year or going through a period of transformation within yourself, flower essences are a great way to tap into the healing magic of plants and develop a relationship with them from a perspective of we are One together in nature with them.
