Keep Getting Burned by the Same Problems?

If you are predominantly a fire element person then you have personality characteristics of being energetic, full of life, enthusiastic and achievement-oriented. More than likely you are a natural leader, creative and action oriented. Fire personalities tend to have birth visions such as do, achieve, or create. These are all great characteristics of a person, but they can also lead to quickly becoming impatient and irritated when frustrated by a lack of action. People with fire element personality characteristics also often act first and ask questions later which can lead to problems for them.

If the same problems involving impatience, frustration, the slow speed of life, and lack of passion tend to keep showing up and burning you time after time, then chances are high that you are a Fire element personality. If you find yourself in this situation, here are a couple of things that may help those of you dominant in the Fire element.

  • Impatiens Flower Essence - This flower essence can be used for emotional cleansing and bringing the body into harmony. It helps with nervousness and anxiety. It can help you relax, have sympathy for a situation or person, help calm you down, and allow you to be more diplomatic. Basically it helps you slow down and keeps you from being so impatient.

  • Big Burn Ritual – This ritual can help to soothe your Fire element personality characteristic's need for extremes by burning up your frustration or by sending a message to the Universe to speed things up. You can see generally how to do the Big Burn HERE. Specifically for you Fire element people, write on your paper those things that are causing you frustration. Write as fast as you can, everything that is leading to your impatience and making you irritable or angry. Then do the Big Burn. If your frustration is stemming from things moving just too slow for you, as an alternative, you can write on your paper a message to the Universe asking for help in accomplishing something quicker. Then when you do the Big Burn, use your intention by putting it into the smoke as it rises taking your request with it.

Being a Fire element personality can be challenging at times. Understanding the fire element characteristics can help you plan situations, projects, careers, and relationships that will work well for you and those that won't. Our Magical Element Fire homestudy course will give you an in-depth study of the Fire element. With this magical knowledge, Fire element personalities can learn how to be successful and avoid getting burned by the same type of problems over and over.

Relationship Magic: Communicating with Someone Based on Elemental Personality Type

If you have been following our series on relationship magic, then you've read how relationship magic is a helpful tool in discovering your own personality traits and those of others in terms of which of the 4 elements most makes up your personality. This information can help you pick a career and relationships that you will be successful in. Here is a quick summary of the basic 4 elemental personality types and some of the characteristics they display.

Air Personality
If your personality is predominantly Air, then you have good communication skills, are adept at planning and are a good mediator. You also are a thinker who is quick to come up with ideas, solutions and inspirations. Your memory is excellent, but you are also easily distracted by various ideas and change your beliefs, opinions and ideas often. Completing projects and tasks is a challenge for you due to being easily distracted and because you like novelty and change rather than stability and practicality.

Fire Personality
If your personality is predominantly Fire, you have a lot of energy and enthusiasm for life. You are achievement oriented and action based. You are probably a natural leader, are creative and easily excited. You may be into thrill seeking through activities such as extreme sports and like to live life in the fast lane. You are easily frustrated by things moving along too slowly and become impatient or irritable with others who are not action oriented or just moving too slowly for you.

Water Personality
People with predominantly Water personalities are empathetic and compassionate people. They are the people others go to for comfort, love or assurance. They are usually caretakers of other people, animals and the planet and often are empaths, psychic and healers. These type of personalities value integrity and harmony and strive to create balance. They are aware of the beauty and gifts in their lives and appreciative of them. The challenge for these people is to not get so involved in other people's problems and emotions that they take them on themselves along with the negative energies. Instead of trying to fix everyone and their problems, they would do better to realize that modeling appreciation, joy and gratitude which comes natural for them is a better way to serve.

Earth Personality
Those people that have predominantly Earth personalities are practical and pragmatic. They are patient, stable, strong in character and persistent. These type of people value loyalty, structure, permanence and boundaries. These usually serene people are good at building strong foundations, finding out how things work, and manifesting. They are not risk takers and can be stubborn, inflexible and slow to make decisions. Collecting too many material possessions is often a downside of this personality type as is getting stuck in a rut.

Relationship Magic: Communication
Once you know your personality type and the personality type of someone you have a relationship with, you can plan ways to "get along with" the other person or possibly know personality types that you should avoid having close relationships with. Let's look at an example and see how this might work.

Leah and Karen work together in an office situation and have jobs that are on equal footing. Leah is an Earth personality and Karen is a Fire personality. They often butt heads due to Leah's tendency to mull things over and take her time before making a decision and Karen's tendency to want things to move quickly. Karen is easily frustrated by her job to begin with because it doesn't always stimulate her need for expressing her passion and creativity and her Fire personality causes her to often want to act before thinking. Leah frustrates her further by wanting to think things through very thoroughly before acting. You can see the problems these two personality types have getting along when they are in a situation that requires them to work together and make joint decisions.

There are a few different ways that Leah and Karen could learn to have better communication that would leave both feeling less frustrated. If they were each aware of their own personality type and each other's type, then they could suggest a division of work that would play to their own strengths. For example for a given problem, Karen could gather data quickly, come up with creative solutions and make her decision on a recommended solution. She could then turn all her work over to Leah to mull over and make a decision. If they do not agree on the solution, then they will need to interact and have communication about it. Being aware of each other's elemental personality, Karen would know that using a slow, deep voice could insure that Leah will be more receptive to what she is saying. Leah would be aware of her tendency to be inflexible and make the extra effort to really listen to Karen, possibly taking her idea and adding a bit of structure to it.

These two personality types at first glance seem like such opposites, but if you really consider each of their strengths, you may find that they could actually complement each other very well in this type situation. Giving Karen tasks that need to be done quickly, that allow her to use creativity and passion and assigning Leah more of the paperwork, computer tasks, and tasks that do not have to have quick decisions but do require organization would work well. So for example if these two women worked in the advertising business, Leah could do in depth research on a product or a new client and then turn this information over to Karen for her to develop some creative campaigns. Leah could then take the campaign and add some solid, practical suggestions. Karen would then do well with creating slides for the presentation while Leah could begin scripting the presentation. According to the personality type of the client, they would decide who would be most compatible with that personality type and the best to do the actual presentation of the campaign.

No matter which personality type or mixture of types you are dealing with, being aware of the strengths and weaknesses can help you use relationship magic to solve most relationship issues. Got Icky Yucky Stuff in Your Life? Clear Your Life with Magical Fire and the Firebowl

A magical Firebowl is a great tool for using the Fire element and the Air element to clear negative yucky stuff out of your life. The Firebowl can be used to cleanse an area or house with a two element cleansing, cleanse objects and people, or use in meditation to clear out your mind. So no matter where you feel the junky energies are: on you, around you, in your mind..., you can use the magical Firebowl to clear them out.

About the Magical Firebowl
The Firebowl does not need to be keyed like other magical tools do. It keys itself every time you light it. And not all procedures will need a charged Firebowl, but cleansings do. Charging the Firebowl programs it for a specific purpose by stating the intended purpose and programming it into the Firebowl tool. For instructions on making your own Firebowl and charging it click HERE. Or you can find this information and other uses for the Firebowl in our Magical Tool: Firebowl ebook. If you burn yellow and yellow-orange pine, sage, sweet grass, juniper, pinion, or copal in the Firebowl, they will act as natural cleansers when burned even if you don't charge them. These are good incense to burn periodically in your home just to keep junky energies cleared up on a regular basis.

Cleansing Objects With the Magical Firebowl
Besides cleansing an area or your house or apartment, you can use the magical Firebowl to cleanse objects or people. If you thrift shop, garage sale or buy antiques, you may acquire objects that have negative energies attached to them from other people. You also may collect negative energies directed at you in some types of jewelry that you are wearing at the time. You can easily clear these energies with the Firebowl. Just change the charge verse to use the phrase "cleanse these objects". Then hold the object in the smoke from the Firebowl until the smoke clings to the object.

Cleansing People With the Magical Firebowl
You can cleanse yourself or other people using the Firebowl. This is especially useful if someone has a lingering illness or condition that appears to come from mysterious origin or cause, but can be done anytime you feel like you have negative or junky energies weighing you down. Before attending a formal ritual or ceremony is another time to cleanse others and yourself. In cleansing people, use the phrase "Cleanse this person and cleanse his/her space" in the basic charge verse. When cleansing someone else, hold the Firebowl close to the person starting at their feet and let the smoke drift towards them. Some people also use a feather to fan the smoke towards another person or themselves. Begin moving the Firebowl around the other person in a clockwise direction (to the left) making an upward spiral as you circle around them and move up the body. Continue until you go up over the head. As you go past the face, the person can inhale the smoke which cleanses the lining of the throat and lungs which are a continuation of the outer skin.

To use the Firebowl to cleanse yourself:
Place the smoking Firebowl on the floor with enough incense burning to make a lot of smoke. Stand over the Firebowl with one foot on either side of it. Weave slightly back and forth in order for the smoke to go up the front and back of you.

Meditating with the Magical Firebowl
If you find yourself stressed or having a lot of negative thoughts or emotions, you may find meditating with the Firebowl in front of you helpful to clear out those junky thoughts and feelings. You don't need to charge the Firebowl for meditation and the incense you choose to burn will vary according to what you are dealing with. Here are some guidelines:
- Burn air incense for consciousness or mind-oriented meditations
- Burn water incense for emotion, Spirit, or intuition-based meditations
- Burn earth incense for meditations focused on the physical body, daily practicalities or mechanics

Click Here for some guidelines on telling what element an incense is.

That's it, you're all set now to make a Firebowl, choose an incense, charge the Firebowl and start getting all the yucky energies cleared out of your home, your space, yourself and your mind. To learn more about this great magical tool be sure to check out the ebook.
