Universal Laws for Magicians for Shamans

Universal laws ... do they exist? Go to enough magical and shamanic seminars and you may start to wonder.

At one seminar you may learn that you can't use magic or shamanism for personal gain. At another workshop they teach you to use daily rituals for nothing BUT personal gain. So who is right and which set of universal laws should you follow?

It is a confusing situation to be sure ... but rest assured that there are universal laws that do govern magical and shamanic practice, and these laws work according to our own experience and observation.

Universal Laws and Rules of the Road
Universal laws are critical for practitioners of magic and shamanism, lest the rituals and spells you launch come back to bite you in the rear!

The best set of universal laws we have seen and lived by are those created by George Dew, co-founder of the Church of Seven Arrows. He called his version of universal laws the "Rules of the Road." These universal laws are sweet, simple, and to the point. Thank you George!

Want to know what these universal laws are? Check them out here.

Universal Laws: Don't Just Follow Them Stupidly
George Dew gave us a set of universal laws and we have "put the rubber to the road," so to speak, to ensure that they actually "work." We can assure you that our experience shows that these universal laws are good, useful, and true.

But that's not good enough. As a shamanic or magical practitioner, you need to verify for yourself whether these universal laws are going to work for you and your practice. Don't take our word for it. Try out these universal laws ... consider it a magical experiment, if you will, and record your results carefully.

After that, you can decide whether these universal laws are ones that you want to follow.

Magic 2012: Wait For It ...

Have you noticed that we live in a time-driven culture? Ever notice how often people check their smart phones or watches to see the time? Ever wonder what this does to our lives?Well, it does offer some sense of structure and control. At the same time, from a magical perspective, our watches are often irrelevant, especially when it comes to Magic 2012.

Magic 2012 and Time
Earlier in the year, we wrote about how time acts funny in 2012. That's certainly true. When it comes to Magic 2012, there is another facet of time to which we need to pay attention: universal time.

Certain desires are manifested very quickly in 2012, while others come into creation much slower than ever. This can be confusing for those of us who are used to relying on our watches. So what should we do?

Wait. Yup, that's right, wait.

If one or more of your desires seems to be taking a long time to manifest, just wait for it. The Universe has a very good reason for its timing. Perhaps the Universe is delaying to prevent an unfortunate accident that might otherwise happen. Or sometimes the Universe is waiting for specific conditions to be right so that your desire can fully flower.

You can, of course, use divination to find out what the Universe has in store for you ... or you could just wait for it! Sometimes it's more fun to just wait, and certainly takes less effort!

In the Meantime
For some of us, waiting is very difficult. We'd rather run a marathon than wait. If that sounds like you, then go ahead and run a marathon. Do whatever it takes for you to feel good, so that you send a joyous note to Creator's ear. The happier you are, the faster time will pass, and the quicker your desires will manifest. In fact, you may be surprised when your desire finally does come into full flower ... and won't that be fun.

When it comes to Magic 2012, if you are not sure what to do then just wait. Focus on activities that keep you happy and don't worry so much about "earning" that which you desire. Just enjoy the magic ... or go shopping in our online store of magical goodies! That's definitely fun!

Online Magic School: For Real?

People email us all the time asking three basic questions:

1. Is magic real?
2. Is your school real?
3. Can I really learn magic and shamanism online?

The answer to the first two questions is, "Yes." Read up in our library of articles to discover the "reality" of magic. The good news is that you can access these articles right now, immediately. That's one of the benefits of interacting with an online magic school ... you can let your fingers do the walking.

As to the second question, our online magic school is indeed a real incorporated entity. We have been a real school dedicated to spreading magic and shamanism to all who wish to learn since 1997. The school, while virtual, is an active ongoing teaching institute.

Ancient Tribal Traditions in Modern Times
As to the third question--whether one can actually learn magic and shamanism online--that has more to do with you than anything else. Some people object to an online magic school because in the past, this kind of information has been passed on through oral, written, and face-to-face interactions.

In some tribal traditions, magical information was considered such a closely-guarded secret that it was passed on only through oral traditions. Each new generation of magicians and shamans had to memorize and personally learn the entire body of knowledge.

Other traditions are less tightly controlled. In these traditions, a combination of oral interaction and written words is considered the way to pass on the information. However, even in these traditions the written word is closely guarded--with almost cult-like fanaticism.

And then there is our online magic school. We offer magic rituals and shamanic teachings through a combination of the written word, audio files, videos, and select live teleconferences. Why have we chosen to break with traditions and use these alternate channels? Several reasons:
  1. Magical knowledge guards itself. There is no need to protect it.
  2. People live in a digital world. Magical and shamanic knowledge must be taught through modern channels if we are to preserve it.
  3. People need magic and shamanism now more than ever. Providing this knowledge through multiple channels allows people to learn in the way that is most effective for them: the written word, the spoken word, or visual images.
So magic and shamanism are being brought into the modern world, but can YOU learn this knowledge from an online magic school such as this one? That is the million dollar question.

The Million Dollar Question
The answer to that question is ... it depends on you. If you have been drawn to magic and shamanism, that means that you have a strong Magnetic Center. If you have a strong Magnetic Center, chances are that you are equally able to learn in an online magic school as in some ancient tribal tradition.

It's all a matter of desire. Not sure if an online magic school is for you? Don't dive right in. Instead, just dip your toes into the pool and see if you get any good mojo back from it. Consider checking out the:
